Small businesses are being treated on TikTok to more promotional tools, with the revamp of Promote to drive more page visits, messages, and targeting by location. The best part? TikTok has laid out each new feature and what it can do for your business to help you make the right choice. Here are their tips.
Next up, Meta is following in Twitter’s footsteps and bringing in paid verification status for Facebook and Instagram. Here’s how they described the change, which is rolling out in Australia and New Zealand first:
“To help up-and-coming creators grow their presence and build community faster, we’ll begin testing a new offering called Meta Verified, a subscription bundle on Instagram and Facebook that includes a verified badge, which authenticates your account with government ID, proactive account protection, access to account support, and increased visibility and reach.”
Meta Verified comes with a verified badge, increased protections, exclusive features, and more.
Twitter has rolled out an update for its Community Notes feature, adding a new alert that notifies users when a tweet users have previously engaged with gets a new note. “This helps give people extra context that they might otherwise miss,” says the Community Notes account, to help combat misinformation on the app.
And finally, Instagram is introducing Broadcast Channels, a “public, one-to-many messaging tool for creators to invite all of their followers into and engage with their most interested fans.” The tool will be coming to Messenger and Facebook soon.
That’s all for today. See you next week!
