LinkedIn is continuing along the generative AI train with the development of a new AI-generated posting option. With this tool, you need at least 30 words to outline what you’d like to say, and the tool will do the rest. Keren Baruch, LinkedIn’s head of product, has some insights on the new feature here.
LinkedIn also recently came out with some interesting insights on the algorithm and its recent updates. The gist is this: non-professional content is going to be prioritized less, while content from first-degree connections will be prioritized more, and finally, expert knowledge will be the focus. Here’s a deeper dive if you’re curious.
Next, Meta is adding some new safety and parental supervision tools, allowing parents to see how much time kids are spending on Messenger, and more. The updates can be found on Meta’s Family Center.
Also, if you’ve been excitedly awaiting a Twitter-like app, Meta’s version known as P92 or Barcelona is projected to launch in mid-July.
And if you’ve been wondering what marketing efforts work for Gen Z audiences, Snapchat has got you covered with this collection of insights.
And last but not least: TikTok is discontinuing its BeReal clone, TikTok Now.
That’s all for this week. See you next time!
