TikTok is a hot topic right now after last week’s congressional hearings. Despite talk of a possible ban, the platform is still putting out exciting updates for brands and users who love the app. 

Effect House Branded Effects are new features that allow brands to collaborate with creators and create Branded Effects, custom effects sponsored by brands. According to TikTok, “By working with effect creators to build Branded Effects for TikTok, brands can tap into the creativity and ideas of effect creators who are already driving big impact with their effects, allowing brands to spark the same kinds of connection, engagement, and conversion while also having more control over key performance features.”

Next up, Meta has launched some new post sharing options on Instagram, where users can privately save posts to a collaborative collection between friends, adding to DM engagement. 

And finally, Instagram is also testing out a new feature where users can share entire Reels to their Stories, bumping up the time limit from 15 seconds to 60.
