Greetings, all! Here are your social media updates for this week!

First up, you might have noticed posts from Threads finding their way into the Facebook and Instagram feeds thanks to a recent update.

Also, Instagram is bringing polls to comments, in the feed and in Reels. (They’re already available in Stories and DMs, if you didn’t notice.)

Broadcast Channels are also coming to Facebook and Messenger, after they saw some success on Instagram. They’re basically a one-way group chat option, where creators can broadcast updates to a close circle of loyal followers via a private chat. Meta also announced some Halloween-themed updates to the 3D avatar feature.

LinkedIn is updating its Collaborative Articles feature with a new look and feel, more reactions, better browsing, and a lot more. Here are the details. (You might need to log in to view.

Last but not least, YouTube is testing out new comment controls, like the ability to deactivate future comments on selected videos without getting rid of current comments. Additionally, in preparation for the holidays, YouTube is also adding new affiliate marketing options, including product timestamps in clips, bulk tagging, and more.
