This week Meta is bringing some new perspectives to content creation; back in February Mark Zuckerberg shared that some new AI initiatives were coming to bring better experiences with text, images, video and “multi-modal” elements. ImageBind is one of these new processes that will help AI learn. This is just the beginning of an exciting new process, but we’re interested in seeing where it goes!

Meta is also previewing new ad options using Reels and Augmented Reality (AR) to offer more immersive experiences for brands advertising on Meta platforms. Currently, these ads have run in feeds on Instagram and Facebook; this new update is bringing them to Stories and Reels.

Next, YouTube is improving its Creator Music elements that will reduce licensing costs. They’re also adding Data Stories that will highlight how Shorts are contributing to channel growth, plus expiring community posts. For a deeper dive, check out this run-down.

YouTube is also looking to maximize engagement with new channel display options that sort and categorize content in a more customizable manner. Here’s a breakdown of the updates.

And finally, TikTok announced an expansion of their Creativity Program, which provides funding to top creators based on performance. Creators who are over 18 years old, posting videos over  a minute long, and have at least 10K followers and 100K authentic video views in the last 30 days are eligible to join the program.

That’s all for now. See you next week!
