Some exciting news from Meta has just recently been announced – the development of a potential replacement to Twitter. The text-based platform is codenamed ‘P92’ according to reporting from Moneycontrol. Users will be able to log in to the app with their Instagram account credentials.

Here’s how Meta described the change to Platformer: “We’re exploring a standalone decentralized social network for sharing text updates. We believe there’s an opportunity for a separate space where creators and public figures can share timely updates about their interests.”

In other news from the company, Meta is winding down its ventures into the NFT space, according to commerce & FinTech lead Stephane Kasriel

Next, Instagram is testing out a new “Top 3” feature for Stories, where users can highlight accounts, tags, audio, and places they love.

Another small but mighty update – LinkedIn has launched its Podcast Academy, described as a “6-month incubator pilot” meant to “connect emerging business podcasts with exclusive programming, coaching, tools and LinkedIn co-branding to expand and better reach their audience.” Sign up here to get more information.

And finally, TikTok has partnered with Dentsu Digital to provide alternative web tracking. Here’s TikTok’s statement on what that’ll look like.

And that’s all for now. See you next week!
