It seems that Threads is working on a disappearing-posts option, in which updates to the app will disappear after 24 hours, along with the addition of a Media tab to sort posts.
If you’ve been waiting for a third-party scheduling option for Threads, you’re in luck! Their API is finally available to developers.
Next up, YouTube is allowing editing for longer videos – as in, longer than six hours! They’re also testing out a version of community notes to provide insights and context to videos, similar to the function on X.
Now, if you’re looking for more options as a business, Meta’s got you covered with an AI-powered DM feature that aims to streamline the query process, making customer support easier than ever.
Our last updates today come from TikTok. Did you know they’ve launched an image-sharing app? It’s called Whee, and described as, “a new social app created to keep you connected with your close friends through life’s spontaneous moments.”
Symphony, TikTok’s suite of AI-powered ad solutions is growing too, with the addition of two different virtual avatars, stock (prebuilt avatars using paid actors) and custom (avatars made by creators with brand IP, spokespeople, etc.). Learn more here!
And finally, two new support programs for small businesses on TikTok Shop.
That’s all for now!
