To start our updates off today, we’ve got some news from LinkedIn: new ad placement options that integrate AI for more creativity. One is called “The Wire,” and another is “Accelerate.” Here’s the scoop on what those programs mean for advertisers. Exciting!

Next, Instagram is testing out text overlays for carousel posts, giving users more formatting options for their posts. Additionally, virtual pets (called “Pals”), and the option to show unpublished Reels to your audience for feedback before posting.

  • An AI-generated “Dream Screen” feature is being tested, which allows users to create background videos or images based on prompts they input. 
  • A revamped Inspiration tab offers creators more AI-based tools to generate content ideas.

  • User-generated Shorts effects.
  • Updated desktop UI for all Premium subscribers.
