First up on the docket today, Instagram has given users the ability to make custom cut-out stickers from still images in their posts, which can be used in Stories and Reels. How fun! Also, users can now opt out of showing read receipts in DMs. This feature is available in individual chats or available in general settings for Stories and replies.

Next, Snapchat is offering generative AI pets for users subscribed to Snapchat+. The pet will accompany users on the Snap Map.

TikTok is updating some accessibility options with a new text size slider available in Settings. 

Meta is bringing new protections for brands into the Brand Rights Protection Manager tool, along with an Intellectual Property Reporting Center. You can find some more details here. Of the update, Meta says: “Available today, these improvements will further help businesses manage their presence, report misuse and reduce the impact of intellectual property infringement, brand misrepresentation and scams.”
