The big game was a huge affair on Twitter, with users posting 24.1 million tweets  – about the plays, the halftime show, the power outage…

Beyonce was apparently the biggest star of the event, with her show generating 268,000 Tweets per Minute (TPM).

The most mentioned players during the game were Ray Lewis (@Raylewis), Joe Flacco (@teamflacco), Colin Kaepernick (@Kaepernick7) and Jacoby Jones.

There were several exciting moments during the game when Tweet activity went up, but none more than the power outage in the second half, which generated 231,500 TPM.
